10, 2010, Pier 5736 will close its doors on Elston Avenue for good.
With a major parking problem and the bank across the street and
the alderman unwilling to do anything, the move was forced on us.
We
will reopen by the 15th of April at 5721 N. Clark St., formerly
The Round Table.
We
thank all who dined with us and hope to see you at our new location.

Pier
5736 is the only seafood restaurant on Chicago's

Chef Peter McCarthy, owner of Pier 5736, selects only the
best of the catch of the day from Chicago's finest seafood
purveyors. Buying in smaller quantities and having daily
deliveries ensures that each cut is the best it can be.

Lake Perch, Trout or freshly caught Smelt or have a taste
for a beautifully prepared Salmon, Stripped Bass or Tilapia,
or want to satisfy a real hunger with a hearty Halibut,

Set in a casual, intimate dining room with vintage posters
from Chicago's Gold Star Sardine Bar, our staff of professionals

a 48 hour notice, unless out of season or unavailable.

the city of Chicago by the Chicago Reader March 14, 2007.
Pier 5736 received this honor in March 2006 as well,
ranked with the likes of Tru, Charlie Trotters, The Ritz
Carleton, Le Francais and The North Pond Cafe. Pier 5736
is the ONLY restaurant on the Northwest side of Chicago
to be ranked in the top 50 for TWO CONSECUTIVE YEARS! Chef
